Stacey joined ACM in 2003 and currently serves as the Partner in Charge of the Assurance Practice. Previously, she was an assurance partner in BDO USA, LLP's (BDO) Dallas office. Stacey started her career with Price Waterhouse in 1991.
Stacey's clients are primarily focused in the distribution, real estate, insurance, and high-tech industries. Stacey's experience in the middle market arena includes public and private companies, initial public offerings, private placements, buy/sell side due diligence and advisory services for private companies, fraud investigations, debt and equity offerings and cost recovery investigations on construction projects. Stacey champions ACM's PE (private equity group) and also participates in the RE/CON group (real estate and construction) as well as the firm's employee benefit plan practice. Stacey previously managed BDO Dallas' employee benefit plan practice including more than 30 defined contribution plans and 11-Ks per year.
She has served as a national CPE (Continuing Professional Education) instructor for BDO, has taught courses at the Colorado Society of CPAs and teaches many of the CPE courses in our office. Stacey has been published in the Practical Accountant and Colorado Real Estate Journal. Stacey has also served as the recruiting director for both the Dallas and Houston offices of BDO.
Stacey is a soccer, softball and baseball mom to her three children and is passionate about women's and children's issues. In her downtime, she enjoys skiing and surfing.
