Experience:
William (Bill) Jones joined ACM in January, 2012 with the merger of his Boulder firm. He brings over 20 years of professional accounting experience spanning a wide range of expertise. He has stayed close to his Boulder roots—all of his public accounting experience and the practice he has built is centered in the Boulder-Denver area. He has six years of private-industry accounting experience, including two years with one of the nation's largest real estate developers.
Bill's areas of expertise include business and management consulting, financial reporting including audit services, and individual and business income taxes. Bill has overseen engagements from small, privately owned companies to companies with over $ 1 billion in revenue.

Bill is passionate about being an active contributor in the community. He serves on the Continuing Professional Education Committee for the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, is Treasurer and a board member for the Erie Chamber of Commerce, and is a board member of the Foundation for Character Development.
In addition, Bill volunteers as an advisor to the Finance Committee of the Ed and Ruth Lehman YMCA and as a consultant working with clients of the Boulder Small Business Development Center. He regularly presents on topics ranging from individual income tax to understanding financial statements.
Bill and his wife Andrea (also a Boulder native) have three children, Spencer, Braxton and Ashton. He enjoys spending time with his family and being a part of his children's learning and development. Bill also is an age-group triathlete who has completed dozens of races including two Ironman competitions.
