JACK ALLGOOD, CPA, Partner
Jack has over 30 years of experience in the practice of public accounting. He joined ACM in January 2007.
His professional experiences include income tax compliance and consulting, management advisory services,
mergers and acquisitions, financial statement engagements, business valuations, litigation support and general
accounting services for all types and sizes of businesses. Areas and industries of specialized knowledge include
real estate (all phases), construction, distribution, retail, marketing and advertising, professional services
(architecture, medicine, law, & accounting), and technology.
Jack also takes an active role in the organizations that shape the accounting industry. He is active within the
Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), including past chairman of the Continuing
Professional Education Board, past chairman of the Continuing Professional Education Curriculum Committee,
past member of the Board of Directors and has served on various other committees. Jack currently serves
on the Leadership Council, the strategic planning 2020 Committee, the Editorial Board, and the Transitions’
Committee. In 2007, he was honored by the CSCPA at a special celebration held in the Denver Center for
the Perfoming Arts Seawell Ballroom as a CPA that makes a difference in the lives of others. This included
recognition for Jack’s contribution to the CPA profession.
He is a frequent speaker on income tax and public accounting subjects. Jack has served as an instructor for
the MBA program at Regis Community College and as a lecturer for income tax seminars sponsored by the
Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). He has chaired special income tax programs for
the education of certified public accountants, and authored income tax and planning articles, including one for
publication to tax lawyers and CPAs in the areas of planning, trends, and techniques (The Tax Advisor, as
published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). Jack has also been published in the Denver
Business Journal and NewsAccount as published by the CSCPA.
