My career with ACM started five years ago, when I graduated from UNC and joined BDO Seidman, LLP right out of school. I stayed for a little over a year, and left to join a small local firm. During the time that I was gone, I found that I lacked the resources I felt were necessary to develop my skills as a public accountant, and grow in my career. I stayed in contact with Greg Anton, and realized that great things were happening at ACM. I met with some of the people who had joined the firm during my absence, and reconnected with those that I worked with before. What I found was that with ACM and through the Alliance program with BDO, I would have the best of both worlds; a local firm feel, with local decision making, and national firm resources and training. The other selling points are the people and the clients. Everyone here is great to work with and to learn from. The clients are challenging and fun. I look forward to the opportunities that I will be afforded during my career with ACM.
